πŸš€ Quick Start

Here’s how to get started with Your Case Plan as an Admin:

  1. βœ… Check your email for your admin invite

    You’ll receive a unique link to create your account and access your admin tools.

  2. πŸ–₯️ Log in to the Admin Dashboard

    Once you're in, you'll land on your Admin Dashboard, where you can manage clients, cases, users, and organization settings.

🏒 Organization Setup

  • Organizations are created by Your Case Plan.

    Need changes? Email support@yourcaseplan.com

  • Admins and Owners are invited by email with a secure, one-time link to activate their account.

  • Admins can:

    βœ… Add/manage users

    βœ… Create and manage cases

    βœ… Assign clients to cases and parties


πŸ‘₯ User Management

  • Add a User:

    Go to the Users tab, then enter their name, role, email, and phone number. They'll get an invite to join.

  • User Roles Include:

    • Attorneys
    • Caseworkers
    • Peer Mentors
  • Guest Users:

    These are limited-access users β€” like CASA volunteers, DHS workers, or service providers β€” who can view case info without full staff permissions.


πŸ“ Case Oversight

  • View Active Cases:

From the Cases tab, see all open cases along with court type and status. You can search or filter to find what you need.

  • Assign Teams & Roles:

    Inside each case, you can assign team members (e.g., attorneys, mentors, caseworkers) to different parties involved in the case.

  • Manage Case Access:

    Control which users can view or manage a case, and monitor updates or progress within the case activity feed.

  • How to Add a Client:

    Clients can be added through three main methods:

    • πŸ”— Public Link from your website
    • πŸ“± Signup QR Code or link shared by a professional
    • πŸ’Œ Direct Invite Link from an admin or professional
  • Assign Clients to a Case:

    Once a client signs up, you can assign them to a case party based on their attorney and case details.

  • Assign Clients to an Attorney:

    From the client profile or signup request, you can match them with the correct legal team.
